1.Introduction
“ROOM RENTAL SERVICE” is an accommodation service that allows people to rent out a room in
their home or apartment to individuals looking for temporary housing. Through this website, the
customers can search for a room in their desired location and book them through this platform. Our
website also provides a convenient platform for landlords to list their available rooms and connect with
potential renters.
We strive to make the rental process as easy and stress-free as possible for both renters and landlords.
Our website offers a secure payment system for renters to make their rental payments, and we also
provide a user verification system to ensure the safety and security of all users.

2.Problem Statement
Finding a new room or flat in a new place is tough and time consuming. Many people struggle to find
affordable room at their desired location and owner also face challenges to find potential customers. As
a newcomer, I faced many difficulties in finding an affordable room at a desired location.
So, if we have a platform like this then people can easily rent in and rent out any desirable room or flat
at any time.

3.Objective
1. People can get affordable room anywhere at any time.
2. Provide a user-friendly and secure platform for renters and hosts to connect, communicate, and
transact with ease.
3. To promote digital community in the field of rental services.

4.Scope
These websites can serve different purposes, such as helping students find accommodation near their
university or offering short-term rentals for travelers. Some room rental websites also offer
additional features such as filtering by price, location, and amenities, as well as allowing users to
post reviews and ratings of the rooms they have rented. The scope of a room rental website can vary,
but in general, it aims to provide a convenient and efficient way for landlords and tenants to connect
and facilitate the rental process.

5.Methodology:
5.1 Study of existing systems:
Before we build our project, we first analyze other project management tool currently available:
DalayDai: DalayDai.com is a free online platform for buying and selling Houses, Lands and
everything Real Estate. Some of its important features are:
 The website has a simple and user-friendly interface, with clear navigation menus
and easy-to-use search functions.

 Users can browse through a variety of listings for apartments, houses, and rooms
that are available for rent in various locations throughout Nepal. Each listing
includes a detailed description of the property, along with photographs and
information about the amenities and features that are included.

 In addition to providing listings for available properties, Daley Dai also offers a
range of services to help users find and rent the perfect home. This includes
assistance with property inspections, negotiations with landlords, and help with
legal documentation and paperwork.

5.2 Feasibility Study:
1. Technical Feasibility
 Hardware such as Laptop & Mobile.
 Software such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript for Frontend and Django for Backend.
 Collaborative Tools such as Messenger, GitHub to facilitate collaboration among team
members.

2. Operational Feasibility
 Technical: The Room Rental Service Management System is built using available and
reliable hardware and software and other technologies that are feasible to implement
and maintain. It also ensures that they can handle the expected workload, data volumes,
and user requirements without performance issues or technical limitations.
 User Acceptance: The Room Rental Service Management System is user-friendly and
intuitive, with an interface that is easy to navigate and understand by the users. User
acceptance testing and feedback is considered to ensure that the system meets the needs
and expectations of its users and encourage adoption and regular usage.
 Scalability and Flexibility: The Room Rental Management System is design to
accommodate potential changes such project scope, or complexity. It is scalable to
handle future growth and flexible enough to adapt to changes.

3. Economic Feasibility
 Operating Cost: As we are using our own laptops and mobile phones and software are
also free of cost, so no expenditure is required.
 Benefits and Value: These include improved planning and scheduling, better resource
management, enhanced communication and collaboration, increased visibility and
reporting, reduced risks, and improved project outcomes.

 5.3 Design:
The Room Rental service management tool should be user friendly that should have clear
navigation menus. The properties tab should have clear filter system on basis of price and
location. The webapp user interface should be easy to navigate through and flexible enough
to adapt by the user. The webapp should also include customer support system with contact
details and Review.

7.Expected Outcome
The expected outcome of an online room rental service project is to provide a platform that connects
renters with owners, making it easier for both parties to find what they need. After the project is
developed Buyers will able to get any room at any time by ease. Enhanced security measures to
protect both renters and landlords from fraud. With this project user can easily compare price and
location, so that they can get the room at desired location with affordable price. The main outcome of
this project is to make sure that both renters and owners get ease experience while using this service .
