Section 4-3- Process Monitoring User Manual

Throughout the entire cycle, various factors are monitored and, if necessary, acted upon by the micro-
processor. Some of these factors:

Temperature Error:
At various times during the cycle the two temperature sensors are compared for accuracy, if there is a difference
of more than 5 degrees the cycle will fail.

Chemical Low:
A float switch in each bottle; Chemical 1, Chemical 2 and Chemical 3 monitors the Chemical level. A cycle will
not start if it detects that there is insufficient chemical remaining to complete the cycle.

Data Output:
All parameters reported by the unit during each cycle are output as a serial data stream (RS232) for logging
either on a printer, or as text files on a PC equipped with suitable software.

Note:
In case of a fault or cycle failure, machine will drain automatically and an access password will be requested on
the HMI to reset.

Section 4-4- Routine Checks User Manual

To ensure that the Medisafe Niagara Express continues to operate within its design parameters it is recom-
mended that the following checks are performed on a regular basis. Consulting the troubleshooting guide in this
manual may prove useful when conducting the checks.

Please note that completion of these checks is not a substitute for regular servicing and maintenance by a suit-
ably qualified engineer.
