Situationer Andas
Situationer Andas
Manicani National High School currently has two (2) disadvantaged learners-
one with physical disability and another showing signs of learning disability. The
former is unable to attend the in-person classes due to inability to walk to school
thus, resorted to a modular distance learning modality. The latter, although attending
face-to-face classes, but shows struggles in the basics of reading, writing, arithmetic,
and even understanding therefore must not be combined with other students in the
regular class.
In the previous years, the school has no specific program or project to address
the needs of disadvantaged learners. However, advisers and subject teachers design
their learning activities to provide equitable and inclusive instruction to these
learners. In the current school year, those activities were streamlined in the three
major projects of the School Improvement Plan.
Manicani National High School envisions of ensuring that all learners, including
those in disadvantaged situations, are provided with meaningful learning experiences
and appropriate educational services and that no learner is left behind.
It is in this context that the Project ANDAS (Addressing the Needs of Differently
Abled Students) emanates.
