ACTIVITY: Filter using Op-amps

1. Set up the following circuit and use the values of R and Cs in Figure 1.

a) Vin(t)=Vm Sin(wt), Vm ≥ 1 V

b) Measure and plot voltage gain as a function of frequency and fill in the following table:

c) Find out the frequency fL that makes Av=0.707.

b) Measure and plot voltage gain as a function of frequency and fill in the following table:

c) Find out what is your maximum gain for this band-pass filter. In which frequency or
frequencies will you achieve the maximum gain? Indicate the maximum gain value and
corresponding Vin and Vout.
