Operation Management Reaction Paper

Operation Management must be managed properly in order to improve an organizations productivity


and profitability. On last January 4 2024 Maam Eula Andrade was discussed about the operations
management with the topic , Front Office, housekeeping, F&B services, Sales and Marketing and
Human Resource .She discussed also how the operation management encounter a problem and the
for the solution. Also how to deal with their costumer and how company operate. An operation
management is an area of management concerned with designing and controlling the process of
production and redesigning business operation in the production of goods or services and how to
manage of your staff.

Operation Management is the administration of standardized business practices that will carry out the
organization into the highest level of efficiency. Operation Management has been developed through
time for me operation management is has a very important role in running business because it not
just operation, planning but also has a strategy how the business will last long. And cooperate
operation management professionals try to be economical as possible to maximize net operating
profit.

Also Maam Eula discussed about the client satisfaction. The we need to abide the standard in which
the process is optimize to satisfy the Client and also we must ensure that they create a WOW
EXPERIENCE or GREAT MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE. And also a good lasting impression. For a global
Leadership, the operation management should promote the core principle of integrity, delegation of
task and accountability to ensure that the operation comply with the standards, while protecting and
enhancing the stakeholder value.

LEARNING

I learned during our culminating activity are the etiquettes and manners for the staff, understanding
the operations management, and how important if you have a CV with no work experience. How to
deal with the client and guest. I learned that we need to be flexible in every situation we encounter.
Also I learned that the Housekeeping is the backbone and Food and Beverage is the lifeblood. As I
have learned about operation management in order to have a successful management is putting you
heart into your goal to maximize the profit of the organization and to have a sustainability operation.
And also we need to be talkative in able to catch the attention of guest or have a good
communication skills to persuade customer.
