Definition

1. Referendum
 A Referendum is a direct vote in which the people are asked to either accept or reject a
particular proposal or specific issue. It's often part of adoption of a new constitution a larger
election. This is in contrast to an issue being voted on by a representative.

2. Plebiscites
 A plebiscite is a direct vote by eligible voters to decide an important public question, such
as a change to the constitution, secession, or a similar issue of national or regional
importance.
 The word plebiscite comes from the Latin word plebiscitum, meaning "a decree of the
people," with the roots plebs, "the common people," and scitum, "decree." A plebiscite can
also be called a referendum.
 What is the meaning of plebiscite?
 A vote by which the people of an entire country or district express an opinion for or against
a proposal especially on a choice of government or ruler

3. Recall
1) A call to return;
2) The right or procedure by which an official may be removed by vote of the people;
3) Remembrance of what has been learned or experienced;

4. Initiative
 The ability to assess and initiate things independently; It’s the power or opportunity to act
or take charge before others do. It’s also the energy and desire that is needed to do
something.
