Job Description of Operations Manager:

Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant

Ensure SOP being followed at all levels inside the plant

Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance

Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance

Develop & Design policies with the core management to improve Operations

Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times

Goods inwards and Goods outwards are properly taken care of in the store.

Ensure the smooth running of the plant.

Maintenance, overhauling of all plant equipment, machineries, tankers etc. should be done as per the
schedule.

Ensure proper care of housekeeping is maintained in whole premises.

Carry on the instructions given by the core management.

Raw Materials:
Ensure Proper weightment of raw material is done when the truck enters the plant premises.
Ensure its proper unloading at the allotted place.
Ensure its stock management is done appropriately.
Ensure raw materials are not littering in the plant here and there.
Plant Processing:
The labors in Plant (Contractual or Permanent) reaches for duty on time.

Conduct daily morning meeting with all the supervisors’ & fitter team for daily routine work.
Ensure the reactors are fed in with raw materials at proper fixed time and in proper quantity.
Ensure labors in plant are wearing proper safety equipment provided to them. In case of any negligence on this part should
be taken seriously and strictly.
 Keep a check on the time of starting and completion of the entire process of the plant per day.
Ensure safety measures followed at the plant without fail.
Ensure that the machineries and tools used in the plant are in good working condition. If it requires maintenance or
repairing or overhauling or replacement, it should be taken care of.

No inflammable objects like (lighters, gas cylinders, stoves, match box, bidi, cigarettes etc) are allowed
inside the plant.

Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited inside the plant.

Once the reactor’s process is complete, it’s gates should be allowed to open only after the stated number
of hours.

Ensure SOP (STANDARD OPERATING PROCESS) of plant is followed under any circumstance.

Safety drills with labors in the plant should be done after every 15 days and its proper record should be
maintained. Timely training on the use of fire safety tools should be conducted from time to time.

Staff Management:

Staffs reporting time to duty as per schedule to be monitored.

Staffs leave intimation system to be followed properly.

Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary.

Conduct Employee Engagement activities for the healthy working atmosphere.

Ensure proper communication between the plant labors and plant staffs to avoid any confusion.

Ensure that all the rules are followed at the entry gate by security guards for checking of trucks, tankers etc.

In case of sourcing employees for the plant, can inform at Raipur office or can self-source it through
referrals.

Ensure proper documents are submitted by the new joinee and also ensure his ESIC registration done
immediately once he joins.

All the collected documents should be sent to Raipur Office.

Weightment of Trucks and Tankers:

Ensure proper weightment of trucks, tankers at the time of their entry and exit.
