 ECM shows an active SPN 27 FMI 7.

NOTE: This concern is currently under investigation and the contents of this article are subject to change

SYMPTOMS

 Check engine light is on.

RESOLUTION

 Replace the EGR valve

Warranty Claim
No Diagnostic time can be applied to the warranty claim for this repair since you are directed to replace the
EGR valve if the 27-7 code is present. ONLY the allowed SRT for the EGR valve replacement can be applied
to the warranty claim.
