science book in page 120 and answer the Word storm there. The students open their
science book.
Choose three words from the box. Determine how these three
words are connected to each other. You copy it in your science
notebook and answer it.

Today we will discuss the Diversity of Plants.

Flower is the reproductive part of the plant. The male part of


the plant is called stamen. The stamen is made up of anther
and filament. The anther produces pollen (male reproductive
cells). The filament holds the anther up.

Here is the Reproductive System of a Flower.

There are two types of pollination. Self-Pollination and Cross


Pollination. Self- Pollination happens when the pollen of a
flower goes to the same flower. Cross Pollination is when
pollen of a flower goes to the stigma of another. And after the
the pollen joins the ovary in a process called fertilization. After
the fertilization, the flower becomes the fruit. Inside the fruit is
the seed. The seed is the embryo of the plant. The seed can
grow to a new plant.

C. ABSTACTION

Class Diversity of plants is the flowers, and flowers have


another part the nonflowering flowers. Those are pine trees,
ferns and other nonflowering plants that we saw on our
surroundings. Miss(name) Can you give more examples of
nonflowering plants?

D. APPLICATION
Yes Teacher
Look at our surroundings without those flowers our
surroundings have no essence. Flowers gave color in our
surroundings so we must take care of it.

E. Assignment

Okay class for your assignment plant a flower in your garden


and make sure you take a video on how you plant it and the Yes Teacher
process you make. I will give you two weeks to submit your
video before December break make sure you submit it to me.
And when you return on January bring those flowers in class
and put it in a flower pot.
