“A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE _______ YRS BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION

AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (BDRRMP) _____________AND ENDORSING FOR ADAPTION
TO MUNICIPAL SANGGUNIANG BAYAN.”.”

WHEREAS, RA 10121 also known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Act of 2010 Section 12 ( c ) 6 “ Formulate and implement a comprehensive
integrated LDRRMP in accordance to the framework, and policies on disaster risk reduction in
close coordination with the local development councils (LDC’s)”

WHEREAS, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC)
mandates all Barangay Local Government Units to formulate their Barangay Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Plan which will guide the barangay in its activities, plans, and
programs towards disaster management.

WHEREAS, the Barangay _______ thru the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Committee (BDRRMC) have develop the ___ Yrs Municipal Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP) which will address the four (4) thematic areas of

Disaster Management which are Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Disaster Preparedness,
Disaster Response, and Rehabilitation and Recovery.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee and
the Barangay Development Council understands the importance of the BDRRMP to Barangay
______, Diplahan which will promote safety and control means to the impacts of climate change
and advocate for disaster resilience.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion by Hon. _________________l, ______________, and

was unanimously seconded,

RESOLVE, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVE TO APPROVE THE __ YRS BARANGAY

DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (BDRRMP) _________ AND
ENDORSING FOR ADAPTION TO MUNICIPAL SANGGUNIANG BAYAN.”

RESOLVED, FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to concerned

agencies for their immediate information and/ or appropriate action.
