I am Fr. Paul Dinh Van Dung, parish priest of the Xuan Am Parish, Thuan Nghia deanery,
Vinh Diocese.

Your Excellency,
I was the first parish priest of the Tan Lap Parish which is the home parish of the Rev. JB Ho
Huu Hoa. I am also his spiritual brother.
I am really happy when I come to know that you are going to lay hands to ordain him as a
priest. Therefore, I am writing this to express my gratitude to you.

It is needed to let you know that:

Brother JB. Ho Huu Hoa was born December 26, 1984, in a catholic family which belongs to
Tan Lap parish, Thuan Nghia deanery, Vinh diocese. His father is Peter Ho Huu Hoang who
has served as a member of the parish council for many years. His mother is Anna Nguyen Thi
Dai, a good and devout parishioner.

Brother JB. Ho Huu Hoa has a good character and reputation. He has participated in charity
and social activities as an enthusiastic volunteer. Especially, he has taken great care of the
poor, the elderly, and the outcast of society. I had witnessed all of this when I was his parish
priest.

Your Excellency,
On behalf of his spiritual brother and his former parish priest, I write this letter to thank you
and your diocese. I hope that you and your diocese create a favorable condition so that my
dear brother can receive the grace of priesthood through your hands.

Wishing you good health and peace always. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin
Mary, may God pour out grace and blessing upon you and your diocese abundantly.
