Dear Sir,
Please find the site issues and observations as stated below:
As per approved proposed method, the cables from marshalling box laid up to SIC panel have a
core size of 0.75mm² is terminated in new terminal box (TB) whereas the cable of 0.6mm² core
size for termination at other end has been ordered for purchase.
Below images are from SIC panel showing the termination of cables at TB and LR switch:
As it was agreed that due to excess of tangled cables in existing control panel the spare panel will
be used. However, SE(GSO) has not allowed for the same proposal, emphasizing that CMEC

should provide approved design drawings before the start of the said works. Moreover, the
scheduled shutdown for the testing of said works on Jan 15, 16 & 17, 2024 is also delayed due to
inconclusive matter at NTDC’s local staff end.
Below images are from 220kV existing Control panels showing the current condition:
Multiple telephonic discussion with XEN P&I has been made in order to resolve the matter with
SE(GSO). However, no meeting has been scheduled as SE(GSO) had not been available.
Below mentioned is a summary of RTU site activities from Jan 08 – Jan 14, 2024:
1. Termination box has been installed for the termination of 0.75mm² core cable at one end
and 0.6mm² core cable on the other end.
3. Installation of local remote switches in SIC panel has also been completed.
