The health benefits of honey

You may ask me how this sweet nectar-based substance is good for your health. Besides its
culinary porpoises, honey has been used as a medicinal ailment for more than 8000 years.
Unannounced to our ancient ancestors, honey contains antibacterial components such as
hydrogen peroxide ,which is a medición used to prevent cuts ,scrapes and burners from
getting infected. Some types of honey contain more antibacterial properties than others .

For example Manuka honey is one of the most used types of honey in medicine.Manuka
honey, on top of having hydrogen peroxide has many other antibacterial es such as
methylglyoxal. Turns out that Manuka honey doesn’t only taste great but also contains many
micronutrients and macronutrients like sugars ,enzymes, amino acids, essential minerals
and secondary metabolites. All of these components give Manuka honey wound
healing, antioxidant and anti- inflammatory properties. In a scientific experiment about if
Hanukkah honey performed better at curing bacteria .Scientists applied Manuka honey and
normal honey to infected wounds and surprisingly the wounds healed better , faster and with
less Manuka honey. Manuka honey's antibacterial properties make it perform better than
other types of honey.Doctors recommend Manuka honey over all.

The submarines ,the Greeks ,the Romans, the Chinese ,the Egyptians and almost every
ancient civilisation. All of these distinct cultures used honey as a medicine and a delicacy.
Honey was written in medicinal texts and in sacred texts.
Honey was widely used before and after the fall of the roman empire and it continued to be
used in the Middle Ages ,but it was less popular because there are little written texts about
how they used honey in the Middle Ages.As the emergence of man made medicine in the
19th century , physicians stopped using honey in the hospitals.Thankfully from the start of
the 20th century honey was reintroduced into the hospitals.
