 Justification

1.0 At present this office is having nine numbers of computers, out of the which
three computers are not working since six months and are more than 5 years
old. These computers are often giving snags due to which day to day working
gets delayed.
2.0 Activities of RRB are now entirely on line. Indents by feeder Units like NR,
RCF/KXH & DMW/PTA are generated on line and send after due approval
through ORIMS (On line Indenting and Recruitment Management System) to
RRB. Software of ORIMS has been developed by RRB/SBC as per direction of
Railway Board and has been implemented across all Railways Pus & RRBs.
Vacancy assessment tab has been enabled to create vacancy assessment indents
on RRB for all the posts categorized under various exam groups.

3.0 MCDOs and other performance statics are prepared and sent to Railway Board
through emails.

In short practically the entire work of RRB has become Computer Based and
thereby calling for the urgent need for purchase of computers.
