5.11 Installing a 3.9t counter ballast

• Lift the counter ballast using Mobile Crane & Install a counter
ballast of 3.9 t in to the first (jib side)
counter ballast slot of rear counter-jib referring attached picture,

• Install the rest counter ballasts using Mobile Crane .

• After installing the rest counter ballast need to do trolley wire &
Hoisting rope winding according to the picture .
 6: Safety device’s

• The safety devices of tower crane include: moment cutouts, load limiters, traveling limiter (include
hoisting limiter, trolley limiter, slewing limiter) and weathervane. The safety device of this tower crane,
besides the above mechanical limiter, also has electronic safety device in the auxiliary safety monitor
system. The installation position of the safety devices shows in Figure.
