Profile Architecture

Hello.
My name is Selvi Nelin. An architecture student on fifth
semester in Binus University that passionate in architectural design,
including structural and construction concept learning. Have
two years of experience in utilizing BIM software, specifically the
Autodesk Revit for various design projects, including residential,
educational, and hospitality projects. Like to learn and discuss
with others regarding the design solutions in the design process.

Project Description

The FS House is a residential project that has the total site area of 314 sqm and the
gross floor area of 232 sqm with two stories that being designed on 2022. The site
is located on a hook site. Therefore, the facade is facing both, east and north side.
This building implements the concept design of modern-contemporary style to
differentiate itself from surrounding buildings.

This project is intended to achieve some quality objectives, they are spacious and
connected for each of the living area, natural lighting and air circulation through
the windows and openings which could lead to energy saving, and flowy circula-
tion and zoning for health well-being space.

Project Description

The Nomade is a four star resort hotel project that located on Ancol, North
Jakarta with total site area of 10536 sqm and the gross floor area of 35125 sqm.
The building consists of sixteen stories and located on a known well recreation
area.

This project has a design concept that using circular form as the building mass
to create an image or impression of fun and relaxing recreation ambience for the
hotel guest.

Project Description

The Binus International School is an kindergarten and elementary school project

that based in West Jakarta, Indonesia. The school prioritize the knowledge of art
and cultural for their educational curriculum. Having a circular and organic
oval shapes create a flowy and playful environment for students to develop their
creativity and enable them to explore various skills.

The buildings implement Balinese Culture which is the “Sanga Mandala” for
space programing and zoning regulations based on Balinese’ belief. The build-
ings are separated into numbers of building masses and forming a courtyard on
the middle of site known as “Natah” to provide a playground and sport field for
the students.

Petamburan Social Housing

Project Description

The Agrapana Social Housing ia a vertical residential revitalization project that

using ecology architecture theory as the project’s focus improvement. Applying
the concept of urban farming that can achieve residents’ daily needs requirement
and their activities. Using the method of rustic on-ground farming to ease the
adaptation for the lower-class residents in performing the urban farming activity.

The building mass is being cut into several part and interlocked each other to
reduce heat radiation and create efficient space. Besides, divide the mass into
numbers of parts will let the wind flow freely and become as breathable mass.
The addition of vegetations and park on site provide views for the residents and
absorption area on the ground while having high precipitation rate.

Project Description

KC Studio is a studio apartment project that apply Japanese Scandinavian design

style as the concept. Its simplicity creates clean and relaxing ambience for its
inhabitant while being in this room for some rest. The ambience can be achieved
through the materials that are being used in this unit room as attached on mood-
board. Application of wood panel for its floor finishing and wood pattern of HPL
sheet for the furnitures make the room seems like attached to natural elements
and provide a safe and warmful area for human to rest.

Project Description

Selayar Community Housing is a vertical housing project that is designed for

fisherman community that based in Muara Angke, North Jakarta. “Selayar” was
given for this project name based on the philosophy which represent the build-
ings’ shape that are seem like fishing boat. This community housing in intended
to adapt from the site environment’s culture and the living habits around from
the inhabitants. This community housing specially provides spaces and facilities
for the fishermen to do their living activities, such as drying fish, and repairing
fishing net.
