I wish to inform you that you have been accepted to study Bachelor of Science in Agriculture on Distance
Learning starting in the 2023 academic year. The August 2023 residential School will begin on 5th August,
2023 at 07:00hrs, and will end on 25th August, 2023 at 17:00hrs. You are expected to report at either
Rockview University 10 Miles in Lusaka or at Ndola Campus in Ndola.

I am pleased to inform you that you have been awarded a Discount on your school fees. As such,
you are required to pay tuition fee and other fees amounting to K1, 900 Per Term. The discount
applies to school fees and NOT accommodation fee.

On registration you will be required to produce the following original documents: National Registration Card
or passport, a valid study permit (in the case of non-Zambians), and certificates/statements of results, two
passport size photos, and the deposit slip of your tuition fees.

Enrolment as a student at this University takes effect at your first payment of tuition fees using a student
number that you have been given. You MUST pay using BILL MUSTER FORM, account name Rockview
University at any ZANACO Branch

Note also, that paying your fees by giving cash to any of our officers will be at your own risk and the
university will not be liable for any loss.

UNIVERSITY GENERAL GUIDELINES

1) The university will provide student Identity Cards (ID) upon start of the program of study. The
identity card should be surrendered to the institution upon completion of the program of study.
2) Where the student reports late without notice, the university reserves the right to charge penalty fee of
K50 for each day they delay to report.
3) Accommodation fees are not subject to installments payment and must be paid in full on registration.
4) Where accommodation has not been offered due to limited space, students are expected to make their
own arrangement.
5) No student will be allowed to write terminal examination if they have not paid in full.
6) The university reserves the right to ban any student from writing the final examination when average
performance in continuous assessment is below 75%.
7) Registration for a course/programme constitutes a binding contract between the university and the
student.
8) The university reserves the right to make changes in regulations, syllabuses, fees etc. without prior
notice.
9) No beer drinking in class or elsewhere during learning hours. Anyone found smelling of beer will
face disciplinary action.
10) Theft, vandalism, demonstrations and graffiti will result in suspension, expulsion or replacement of
the property damaged.
11) Fighting is a serious offence. Culprits may face suspension or expulsion.
12) No student shall disrespect or disregard lawful instruction from the university authorities.
13) Use of abusive or insulting language within the school premises is strictly prohibited.
14) Members of staff/administration should be respected at all times.
15) Orderliness shall be observed at all cost at the hostels and classes. (Keep left on the stairs)
16) Students must participate in both curricular and co-curricular activities.
17) All students are expected to dress modestly at all times. The following are not allowed: diva shoes,
open shoes, slippers, short skirts, sleeveless tops, jeans of any kind, codrals, cargo pants, shorts of any
kind leggings/jeggings and trousers on the part of ladies.
18) No colored hair/crazy hair style.
NOTE: The University reserve the rights to cater for Transport and Hospital Bills. Therefore, the
University is not obligated to provide Transport to the Hospital and cater for Hospital bills in an event
a student falls sick.

NOTE: All students admitted to Rockview University shall abide by the Rockview student code of conduct
PROCEDURE TO WITHDRAW WITH PERMISSION FROM SCHOOL
1) Any student who wishes to withdraw from school should notify the Dean of the School they belong to
in writing and they should state exactly why they are withdrawing from school. The Dean can either
approve or disapprove the withdrawal depending on the reasons given.
2) Only fully registered students will be eligible to withdraw from school. This entails that a student
should pay and meet all minimum requirements needed for registration.
3) A student who withdraws from school will resume from where they stopped when they report back to
school.
4) A new full time student who withdraws in the first four weeks of school opening will have his fees
posted to the following term when he/ she reports back to school or refunded with a withdraw fee
charged.
5) A new distance student who withdraws in the first one week of school residential opening will have
his fees posted to the following term or refunded.
6) If a new student withdraws from school after 4 weeks (in the case of full time students) or withdraws
after one week (in the case of distance students), he/ she will forfeit the paid fees because it will be
assumed that the student has started benefiting from the services offered.
7) The fees paid by a student who withdraws from school in the stipulated period mentioned above will
be valid for posting to another term for two academic years after which they forfeit the paid fees.
