A. Preliminary
Activities
1. Prayer
To be led by the learner scheduled for the day.
2. Greeting
The teacher and the learners will exchange greetings.
3. Checking of Attendance
The teacher will check the attendance of the class.
Activity 1: “Reviewing about Active and Passive Voice”

Activity 2: Fix Me!

C. Establishing a The students will be given an activity. The teacher will group the learners

Instruction: Each group will be given jumbled cut pictures. The group
will fix or arrange the pictures then paste it on the board. Then identify
the different actions/verbs or words based on the pictures.

Guide Questions:

3. What is the common denominator between the pictures?
4. What is the connection of all the pictures?

Past tense or simple past is used to describe things that have already
happened. It is used to talk about things that happened or existed before
now. Time markers used are the earlier, 5 minutes ago, yesterday, last
week, last month, last year and etc.

Example:

Hidilyn Diaz won the Philippines’ first gold medal in the Olympics.
