Proposed Title of the Study

 "Fast Bites on Campus: Quantifying Student Satisfaction with Quick
Food Options"
Area of Study: Sinalhan Integrated High School
Background of the Study
Within the academic endeavors of Sinalhan Integrated High School, has
focused on the topic of student contentment with the fast food options
offered on campus. The purpose of the study is to determine how much
students are satisfied with the quick food options available on school
grounds.
Students at Sinalhan Integrated High
School have a plenty of academic duty, extracurricular activities, and social
contacts in the busy school setting. The researcher acknowledges the
importance of quick and easily accessible meal options in influencing the
overall student experience in light of these expectations. The researcher
wants to measure and evaluate pupils' happiness with the rapid bites that
are offered.
Statement of the Problem
This proposed study focuses on determining the student's satisfaction towards
the quick food options of SIHS. This study also aims to answer the following
questions.
1. What is the level of satisfaction of the students of SIHS in terms of:
1.1. Food Taste
1.2. Food Service
1.3. Food Price

2. What are the student's perception towards the quick food options in the
canteen of SIHS?

3. Is there a relationship between the student satisfaction towards the quick

food options?

4. Based on the findings of the study, what enhancement program may be

proposed?
Objectives of the Study
The objective of this study is to systematically assess and quantify the levels
of student satisfaction with the fast food choices available on the campus of
Sinalhan Integrated High School.
Literature Review
(ERIC, 2013), stated that Task-Based Approach is one of the proposed
teaching strategies since 2001. Stanley (2003), stated that Task-Based
Approaches focus on the learning of languages by means of tasks
performed by the learners. This approach offers an alternative for language
teachers. With this approach, the lesson is based around the completion of
a central task and the language studied is determined by what happens as
the students complete it. Moreover, this approach focuses on how students
create and need to learn and use language. The tasks that are to be given
will generate their own language and create an opportunity to language
acquisition. (Bowen, 2013)

Theoretical Framework
In conducting this research, there are theories that will be used by the
researcher that serve as bases and will be utilized throughout the study. These
are the following:

Experiential Learning
According to (Cherry, 2019), experiential learning is defined as the process
where knowledge is created through the transformation of experience. It
explains that knowledge results from the combination of grasping and
transforming the experience.

Communicative Language Teaching

(Elis, 2018), stated that CLT viewed language not just as a set of formal
structures, but as a means of communication. According to Hymes, as cited
by (Elis, 2018), a theory of competence is outlined that accounted for both

what us formally possible in a language and what is possible and acceptable
in terms of performance.

Proposed Research Designs, Methods. Procedures

Research Methodology

This study will use a quantitative research design. In particular, descriptive-

correlational research was used. Creswell (2012) describes that quantitative
research design is used if the researcher would like to identify research problems
based on the trends in the field or the need to explain why something occurs. In
addition, this research design emphasized objective measurements and the
statistical, mathematical, or analysis of data collected through polls, questionnaires,
surveys, or by manipulating pre-existing statistical data using computational
techniques. This design will be employed since this research will analyze the result of
the survey using statistical tools and it deals with identifying the level of technical
assistance and the work performance of teachers in the Division of Santa Rosa City.

On the other hand, descriptive-correlational research will be used for this

study to test the relationship between the independent variable and one or more
independent variables. This design is appropriate for this study since this will
determine the level of technical assistance and the work performance of the
teachers in the Division of Santa Rosa City.

A. Sampling

In determining the respondents of the study, the researcher will use simple
random sampling. According to Pulmones (2016), the simple random sampling
allows for members of the population to have an equal chance of being selected
as a member of the sample. For the sampling procedure, the researcher will utilize
the G-power to accurately determine the sample. The respondents will be the
twenty-five percent of the actual number of the students in each school in the
Division of Santa Rosa City.

B. Data Collection

Before gathering the needed data, a letter will be sent to the Office of the
Schools Division Superintendent in the Division of Santa Rosa City requesting the
division authority to allow the researcher to gather the needed data from the
respondents. After getting approval from the superintendent, the researcher will
have the initial interview in each school. After that, the researcher will construct the
survey questionnaire, arrange the schedule to distribute and gather data from the
respondents. Distributing and collecting the questionnaires from the respondents will

be conducted by researcher. After the completion of all the necessary
requirements, the researcher will solicit assistance from a statistician to correctly
tabulate, analyze, and interpret the data.

The researcher will be utilizing a researcher-made survey questionnaire for

this study. To validate the questionnaire, the researcher will seek assistance of the
research experts (panelist, statistician, and language editor) to establish content
and construct validity. The researcher will also consult other English teachers to
check the clarity and validity of the questions. The questionnaire will undergo
several editing during its validation period. When the consequent corrections and
suggestions are incorporated, the researcher will have the final draft of the
questionnaire ready, and consequently, administer to the respondents of the study.
