Overwork and stress on user’s eyes
Negative health effects which lead to
reduced productivity, sleep disturbance
and social isolation
Challenges identified:
Addiction: The increasing availability of
technology and constant connectivity to
devices lead to over reliance on them
The 24/7 accessibility to information,
communication and entertainment creates an
environment where boundaries between work
and leisure are blurred
The convenience that technology offers can
also overwhelm us, as the constant stream of
information demands attention
Over reliance on technology for work: School
work heavily relies on various technological
tools and platforms
Students may find themselves often inundated
with an overwhelming amount of digital tasks,
which can cause digital fatigue

Action Plan:
Technology Overload
Since the youth (aged 6-19) are easily susceptible to
addiction caused by social media which leads to
technology overload, how might we aid the youth in
minimizing their addiction through raising awareness
and education on the importance of not getting
addicted?
