Shalom!

Republic Act No. 11908 an act mandating the establishment and implementation of the
Parent Effectiveness Service program to strengthen parental involvement in their children's
development and learning and appropriating funds therefor. In implementing the PES Program,
the local government units (LGUs) shall give priority to parents and/or parent-substitutes with
vulnerable children, such as but not limited to children at risk, children in conflict with the law,
and children who have been exposed to and/or involved in violence in the homes and
communities, solo parents and/or their parent-substitutes, and adolescent parents and their
parents, and/or parent-substitutes.

Inline with this may we invite your Child Development Worker, Committee on Social
Services and 1 Active Community Parent on December 8, 2022 at Municipal Function Hall
at 8’oclock in the morning. This activity will help you in implementation of the Parent
effectiveness Service Session in your respective barangay.
