2. This project was conducted in 2012 for the award of degree in b.tech in the field. 3. Responsibilities in general concerning your position and specific to the project a. To execute the task of investigation from different papers of literature with the execution of online studies. b. To design a treatment device to reduce excess bilirubin in newborn patients. c. To perform the programing of microcontroller and setup of module to connect the electronic device. d. To prepare powerpoint presentations and lecturers. 4. As a Biomedical engineer several skills such as design skills, programing skills, production skills and communication skills were utilized for the executing the project. 5. Apart from the skills that were used for the project I was able to develop data analysis skills and project management skills. 6. To select an appropriate topic for the project was the main issue faced during the project work and with the help of a GE research engineer we were able to mitigate the situation and also his support was with us through out the project days. 7. The project report made a significant part for the final presentation of the project and it encorporates most important informations regarding the thesis of the project and certification. 8. Documentaion was a major part of the whole process because the important informations regarding the terms has to be correctly documented and could be used for the final documentation. 9. The findings of the project was presented via powerpoint presentation and the made detailed description through oral classes to the concerned staffs that include the HOD of the department.
