We are a Pune based startup aiming to create an aggregated app in the heavy
equipment industry so that every entity small or large that is involved in the Heavy
Equipment Industry can achieve more. From searching the operators to maintenance
partners, or from overhead of renting equipment to selling equipment, or from going
through details of insurances, we are trying to bring the entire heavy equipment
industry on one single platform.

EQUIP9™ is a future digital marketplace for the heavy equipment industry that is
built on the latest technology to enable customers of the heavy equipment industry to
connect with certified workforce, or equipment, or spare parts of equipment,
maintenance, or analytics of equipment utilization. With EQUIP9 digital app
customers can manage the certified workforce, track equipment, buy/ rent/ sell their
assets anywhere, anytime across the globe. Customers can get all analytics related to
their equipment such as fuel, mileage, run time, idle time, Geo-fencing from
EQUIP9™ digital app. EQUIP9™ delivers more to the heavy equipment business so
that customers just don't do business, they do optimize and futuristic business.

Problem Statements For operations -

The current onboarding on the equip9 app shows what we’ve


suspected all along. “We’re playing in two major markets. The first is
small equipment owners (individuals) —they have equipment or a
fleet of smaller count 1-20 and who run their own companies, fewer
than 1-10 employees if that. The other is medium-size businesses
owners who have 50-100 plus equipment and who run their
companies with employees count 20 if that. We also see variety of
users downloading our app (Partners, Equipment Owners, Project
Magazines, Insurance Companies, Rentals, Brokers, Mechanics etc)

Our operations are broken. Our onboarding is low..

We have our core strengths lying in operators and mechanics.


EQUIP9 has the largest database of operators and mechanics in
India).
Since our launch, more than 2.5 years ago, we have managed more
than 1,000+ problems and solved more than half of them. Indeed,
our downloading rates have improved dramatically over the years (1%
in 2020, 115% in 2021, and 225% in 2022), which is a function of the
increasing quality of the questions we pose and of our solver team.
Interestingly, even unsolved problems have been tremendously
valuable to us, and most importantly are easy and most innovative
operations solutions.
