ROLE PLAY

ACTIVITY
LEARNING OUTCOME

• To role play a specific situation using the


appropriate language, pronunciation,
intonation, and gestures.
INSTRUCTIONS
* Get in groups of 3.
* Discuss and choose a situation from the PPT.
* Work with your partners and create a conversation.
* Practice the conversation before Saturday 9th.
* Present the conversation next class.
* The conversation should last between 2 to 3 minutes.
EVALUATION
* Proper use of the language (grammar and vocabulary.)
* Adecuate pronunciation, intonation, voice projection and gestures.
* Use of audiovisual items and time controlling.
* Preparedness and responsibility.
SITUATIONS
You are three/two people meeting for the first time.
Situation 1 Create a dialogue about it. Everybody participates.
Use the Grammar and Vocabulary practised in Unit 1.
You are three/two people talking about their free time
activities or typical day. Create a dialogue about it.
Situation 2
Everybody participates. Use the Grammar and
Vocabulary practised in Unit 2.
Your friend from Australia is coming to Peru. Create a conversation
Situation 3 giving him/her travel advice about places or things to do. Everybody
participates. Use the Grammar and Vocabulary practised in Unit 3.
You are at a restaurant with two friends. Call the waiter and order
Situation 4 something to eat, drink, etc. Everybody participates. Use the
Grammar and Vocabulary practised in Unit 4.
You are talking about everyday activities and Present-time
activities. Find out, what your partner is doing. Probably he/she is
Situation 5 working or studying. Use the Grammar and Vocabulary practised
in Unit 5.
Make a conversation about your last holiday. Ask your partner
Situation 6 question using the Simple Past.
