Re : World’s Teachers Day Video Making Contest

Greetings of peace and prosperity!

As we approach the auspicious occasion of World Teacher’s Day, it is with great pleasure and deep admiration
to address you this momentous occasion that serves as a global recognition of the invaluable contribution made
by our educators. Our celebration of it will be on the 4th of October in the Amphitheater at 01:00 o’clock in the
afternoon.

With this, let us encourage our students to be part of video-making contests as one of the highlights during the
celebration. It is the day to honor and appreciate the unwavering dedication, passion, and tireless efforts of
educators who shape the minds and futures of countless individuals.

Attached is a copy of the guidelines and criteria for the Video Making Contest and its specifications. This is an
avenue in which our students could emanate their skills and creativity while giving tribute to our dear educators.

WORLD’S TEACHERS DAY VIDEO MAKING CONTEST

1. An entry must have a minimum time of two (2) minutes and a maximum time of three (3) minutes)
2. World’s Teachers’ Day will focus on the theme, “The teachers we need for the education we want: the
global imperative to reverse the teacher shortage”.
3. In accordance with the copyright laws, music used in the entry must be duly credited.
4. All entries must be submitted to the OSAS Office or in the following email: (i) osas@sec.edu.ph; (ii)
jayemajoc@sec.edu.ph on or before October 03, 2023 until 12:00 p.m.
5. Judging will be on October 03, 2023, at 03:00 p.m. at the OSAS Office.
6. Criteria for Judging
Relevance to the Theme : 35%
Originality : 30%
Cinematography : 20%
Sounds and Editing : 15%
Total 100%
7. Disqualifications. Failure to follow the above-mentioned guidelines will be subject to disqualification.
