chairs.

: How are you feeling today?

: Alright. I am happy that you are doing great.

: Alright. So please settle down and I will check your attendance. Is everybody present? So no one is
absent. Very good!

MOTIVATION

: So before we start to our lesson, let us have a short game activity. The game is entitled "Jigsaw puzzle".
As you can see I have here 2 envelopes and each envelope containing pieces of puzzle. You need to
assemble them in order to form a picture. The first group to finish the game activity will announce as the
winner and will receive a reward.

: Are you all happy with our game activity? Okay very good!

: Let's move on. Today we will discuss about the story which is entitled "The Centipede" by Rony V. Diaz

: So before anything else. I have a question. So if someone or somebody is annoying or like it feels for

: So for our topic. We are going to tackle about short story related to Philippine Literature. So I have her
a picture and you guys are going to tell me of what are your ideas about these pictures that I am flashing
here in front.

: So what can you say about this picture?

: Yes? It is a Centipede. So when we say Centipede. What is it? It is a bad creature or not? Yes it could
be.

: So another picture? It is a dog. So a dog could be a man's friend. Right?

: So these pictures I am flashing here is related to the short story that we are going to tackle this
morning. These pictures will play a big role to the main characters of the story.

: So now I have here a big book of a short story that we are going to tackle today. So it is just a summary.
So I want you all to please bear with me. For this is already comprehensible content. So entitled "The
