The Sole Now turn your work and
work on the opposite

Cut a long thread and pull
through last stich. Make
an invisible crochet join
inbetween stitch 42 and
stitch 1. This will now mean
you have 43 stitches in all
Weave in all your ends
neatly and slightly steam
press the sole to make
flat (do not over heat).

With the heel at the top and
the right side of the sole
facing you (the right side
always has neat chain stitches

Using the same cream wool,
work in the back loop only.
Pull a loop through the back
of the 1st stitch or which ever
stitch looks like it is in the
most centre of the heel.

1. Ch 1, just to attach the
yarn, and pull quite tight
2. Now make your first
single crochet in the
same back loop spot.
3. Place a marker in this
stitch so you know to
count this as st 1
4. Sc into the back of
all 43 stitches.
5. Check at the end you still
have 43 stitches in all

Working in both loops
from now on
1. Sl st into both front and
back loop of the 1st chain
st that has the marker in it
2. Make your 1st sc into
the exact same spot you
made the slip stitch
3. Sc crochet into all
43 stitches
Check at the end you still

Some times at the end of a
round it can look like you have
another stitch to go into (see
diagram) just ignor this and
slip stitch into the 1st stich

Slip stitch into the first stitch
and finish off with and
invisible join over the first
stitich to make sure you only

Toe Markers
1. Fold shoe in half making
sure the front of the
shoe is facing left.
2. Count 9 st from left to right
and add a stitch marker
3. Now count 18 stitches
around the front of the
shoe including the stitch
with the marker in it
4. Add another marker
into stitch 18
5. This will now give you 18
stitches for the toe and
25 stitches at the back.

Black Stitching
With a 2.5mm hook chain stitch
with black yarn the lower black
line just above the first row
after the sole. This line goes
round the back of the boot only
and should start and finnish
just below the toe markers
Tip. Hold the shoe so the toes
is facing right so you can
easily chain stitch all around
the back until you get to the
marker on the other side.
Weave in the ends carfully
The Top black line goes
directly under the top
stitches all the way round.
Finnish neatly off and
weave in ends

Pull a loop of white yarn
through the BACK loop

Star Logo Row 2
2sc in each of the 6 chains
making 12 sc altogeather.
Cut a length of cream yarn Finnish off neatly with
aprox 120cm. The dk yarn an invisible join.
is made up of 6 strands.
I take two of them out so Weave in ends
as not to make the circle
logo too thick. With a 3mm With black yarn embroider
hook make a chain of 2 a ‘Lazy Daisy’ onto the circle.

logo’s to make them flatter.

Laces
With a 2.5 mm hook make
a neat chain of 100 and
thread through booties with
a needle or your hook. Take
some time to make these
look as neat as possible.

Shaping
To make the boots look
presentable in the shoe box,
Place the cardboard sole in
the bottom and stuff out the
boot with capock. Take some
time to make the boots match
and to get the right shape.

Choosy Stuff
The Box
Printing:
Always make sure the print
setting is on 100% and not
scale to fit. The length of
the box base should be 12
cm. The length of the box
lid should be 12.2cm
Lid:
Cut out acurately using crafting
knife with blade. Lightly score
the fold lines with the back of
the blade.

Using a high quality paper adhesive
glue tabs into possition first then
fold inner flaps down last
Base:
Glue flaps into place as above. Cut
black tissue paper to size to wrap
around boots when placed in the box.
