Making Corn Ribs involves a series of steps, starting with harvesting the corn from its
plantation and undergoing a quality control check to prevent product defects from being
distributed. Subsequently, after ensuring only the best quality corn remains, it will be
distributed to every market that has established a contract with the supplier. In the market,
the corn is sold to their consumers.
The first step in making Corn Ribs is washing off the dirt from the corn itself. The
quantity of the corn used will depend on the preferences of the cook. Once the corn is
thoroughly cleaned, it will be cutted into rib-like shapes in a range of 6 up to 7 pieces. For
personal consumption we could use all of the pieces, but for selling or commercial purposes,
use only the one in the best shape. Moving on, heat cooking oil in a pan. Once it's hot and
reaches the desired temperature, place the corn ribs in the pan carefully to fry them. Put it
upside down with the stem facing upward so it will only cook the corn. Fry the corn ribs until
it achieves a golden brown colour, pick it up and wait for it to cool slightly. When the corn
has cooled, spread the seasoning evenly all over it. The fresh seasoned corn ribs then will
be placed on a microwave tray and microwave it for about 6 minutes. When the seasonings
melted perfectly to the corn, it could be served directly.
This process is the step of making a Corn Ribs, starting from the scratch with
harvesting a high quality corn up to the plating and serving.
