Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage the product. Wear an ESD wrist strap or use a
corresponding method when handling the product.
The operating temperature range of the device is between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C (104°F).
50 Provide 50 mm (2.0 in.) clearance on all sides of the unit to ensure proper air flow and heat
mm dissipation.
Avoid installing the device near windows to minimize external interference. The unit should be
located out of direct sun exposure.
Installation in dusty environments will eventually lead to hardware failures, such as shorts on the
unit, and clogged or blocked fans. The unit must be located away from areas of potential salt spray.
The unit must be mounted away from air conditioning, or potential sources of dripping liquids.
Shielded cables (F/UTP or better grade like U/FTP and F/FTP) must be used for 4G ASiR-pRRH and
ASiR-sHUB connection.
This product must only be used with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE++ IEEE802.3bt type 3). Prior to
installation, verify if the correct PoE infrastructure is in place, especially when replacing other
hardware with this product. Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) cables must only be connected to Safety
Extra Low Voltage (SELV) circuits and must not be routed outside the building structure.

3 Wall installation
Installing 4G ASiR-pRRH onto walls
5. Put four M5 screws (attached to the back of the unit) through the holes
in the bracket. Slide the unit down (a) and tighten the M5 screws (b) using
the Phillips screwdriver.
Note:
The mounting screw and anchor hardware are not included in the delivery. Make sure to
select appropriate mounting screw and anchor hardware specific to your installation surface.
6. Tighten the M3 security screw with TX10 security screwdriver at the top
of the unit to secure it.
Checklist
The unit is attached to the mounting bracket and cannot slide off the mounting.

4 Ceiling installation

4 Ceiling installation

5 Connecting cables
Cabling 4G ASiR-pRRH with Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Note:
The 4G ASiR-pRRH unit can be installed with Cat.5e or Cat.6A shielded PoE cable. The Cat.6A
cable is preferred for later support for 5G ASiR-pRRH deployments.
Note:
Main and diversity external antenna cable connections are required for the 4G ASiR-pRRH
variants with external antenna interface.
