IRR 1.0 BACKGROUND

IRR 1.1 The Quezon Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (QFJPIA)
will hold a weekly challenge named "Sabado Tanong!" for accounting students
throughout Quezon Province to showcase their intelligence and competitiveness.
The questions will contain information about different board-related subjects. As
the name implies, this event will be held weekly, specifically, every last Saturday
of the month, from November 2022 to April 2023 at 5:00 pm on the official
Facebook page of QFJPIA.

IRR 2.0 OBJECTIVES

IRR 2.1 To expound the knowledge of Accountancy Students in answering different kinds
of theories and problems which are focused on the Subjects that are included in
the LECPA;

IRR 2.2 To practice the art of time management when answering theories and problems;

IRR 2.3 To evaluate the knowledge of Accountancy Students through the use of an online
platform;

IRR 2.4 To establish a strong foundation in Accounting Subjects; and

IRR 2.5 To familiarize the construction of multiple-choice questions and become expert
enough in analyzation.

IRR 3.0 GENERAL GUIDELINES

IRR 3.1 1. Bonafide members of the organization are advised to answer the weekly
challenge questions.

2. There are four (4) questions for this weekly challenge, and all year levels (1st,
2nd, 3rd, and 4th year) have corresponding questions.
3. Participants will only answer the questions according to the post of their
respective year level in the comment section. Together with the answer,
participants should write their name, year level, and local chapter.

4. Participants are allowed only to answer once.

5. The questions may be a theory or a problem. All questions are multiple choice.
The questions may contain information about Licensure Examination for Certified
Public Accountants (LECPA), including some of its subjects:
 Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR);
 Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting (AFAR);
 Management Advisory Services (MAS);
 Auditing;
 Taxation; and
 Regulatory Framework for Business Transactions (RFBT).

6. There is allotted time to answer the questions. The timer will begin at 5 o’clock
pm when the challenge is posted on the page and will end at 6 o’clock pm when
the challenge is completed.

7. The Department of Audit will be assigned on checking the responses of the


participants after the challenge is completed and they will also be responsible for
monitoring the standing and score of participants up until the end of the term.

8. The weekly winners of every question will be based on who gets the correct
answer first and will be recognized by announcing their names at the end of the
challenge on the FB page of QFJPIA. Those who got the correct answer but did
not get it at first will still get a point for their answer. Every correct answer of a
participant, even if they are not the first one to answer, gets a point, and it
accumulates up until the end of the term.
9. Those with the most points per year level at the end of the event duration will
be the winner and will receive a prize.

10. Failure to follow the instructions above will have corresponding deductions on
their points.

11. The Department of Academics shall be in-charge of monitoring the said


violations and their decisions are binding and irrevocable.

IRR 4.0 GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

IRR 4.1 The “Sabado Tanong!” is open to all Accountancy Students of Quezon Province.
Provided, he/she must be a bonafide member of the QFJPIA FY 2022-2023.

IRR 5.0 REQUIREMENTS, GAME MECHANICS, AND SCORING

1. The Weekly Challenge is open to all bonafide members of the Quezon Federation of
Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (QFJPIA) for the federation year 2022-2023.

2. Sabado Tanong! will be running every first (1 st) Saturday of November 2022 up to April
2023.

3. The points will vary based on whether it is a theory or a problem. The respective points
are as follows:

1st Year 2 pts 5 pts
2nd Year 2 pts 5 pts
3rd Year 2 pts 5 pts
4th Year 2 pts 5 pts

4. The points will be deducted by 1 point if the participant fails to follow the guidelines of
the challenge.

5. The time allotted to answer weekly challenge questions is only one (1) hour. It starts at 5
p.m. and closes at 6 p.m.

6. Answers will be written down in the comment section in their respective questions based
on year level.

7. The three (3) top performing players for the 6-month long activity will be recognized on
the final Sabado Tanong! episode.

8. The three (3) top performing local chapters will vary upon whose members are on the top
scoreboard within the 6-month run of this activity.

9. In case of a tie at the end of the term, a tiebreaker question will be given.

IRR 6.0 POINTING SYSTEM OF GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2023

IRR 6.1 FOR LOCAL CHAPTERS, the following are the scores to be given to
the three (3) top performing local chapters:

Overall, Champion 10
1st Runner Up 8
2nd Runner Up 6
IRR 6.2 FOR JPIANS, the following are the scores to be given to the
three (3) top performing players:

1st Runner Up 8
2nd Runner Up 6

IRR 6.3 This procedure for pointing shall be strictly, objectively and impartially (for Year
End Assembly purposes).

IRR 7.0 VIOLATION AND SANCTION GUIDELINES

IRR 7.1 The above-mentioned “Sabado Tanong!” rules and regulations are for QFJPIA
and related persons information exchange only. The council maintains the
relevance and reliability of this document through the strict implementation of its
rules and regulations.

IRR 7.2 Any questions raised by the participants that are not included in the IRR shall be
subjected to the jurisdiction of the Department of Academics and QFJPIA
Executive Officers. The decision of the Department of Academics and the
QFJPIA Executive Officers will be final and irrevocable.

IRR 8.0 ENFORCEMENT OF THE IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS


IRR 8.1 It shall be the primary duty of the Department of Academics and Provincial
Executive Officers to effectively enforce the provisions of the implementing rules
and regulations. The executive officers also have the sole right to interpret the
contents of the implementing rules and regulations and their decision will be
binding and irrevocable.

IRR 8.2 The Provincial Adviser or his duly designated representative shall act as a legal
adviser to the Department of Academics and the Provincial Executive Officers
and shall render legal assistance as may be necessary for carrying out the
provisions of the implementing rules and regulations.

IRR 9.0 SEPARABILITY CLAUSE


IRR 9.1 If any clause, provision, paragraph or part of the implementing rules and
regulations shall be declared unconstitutional or invalid, such judgment shall not
affect, invalidate, or impair any other part hereof, but shall be merely confined to
the clause, provision, paragraph or part directly involved in the controversy in
which such judgment has been rendered.

IRR 10.0 EFFECTIVITY


IRR 10.1 The implementing rules and regulations shall take effect immediately after its
preparation and approval.
