Introduction

Automated Mathematical Solving Applications is an artificial knowledge to recognize math problems. Many students can
now use various types of solving applications to their math problems instead of using their own knowledge, which might
have an effect on their performance.

Providing solutions and answer by just putting math problems is known as Automated Mathematical Solving
Applications. Students are believed to use problem-solving software on their task because the task itself is difficult.
Consequently, students that find math subject hard can use applications software more. Digital technologies in
mathematics education offers new ways of engaging with mathematical concepts and processes. Some educators
contend that they provide an opportunity to re think aspects of mathematical education, along with alternative ways to
facilitate understanding (e.g., Borba and Villareal 2005; Calder 2011). For instance, the visual and dynamic elements of
digital mathematical thinking have repositioned both the types of knowledge and understanding needed, and the
methods of learning, while at the same time enhancing the learning experience in many interconnected ways. doing.
The use of smartphones and tablets can contribute to better education today. Thanks to various freely installable
applications such as Photo Math, Gauth Math, and other math apps, learning is now possible anytime, anywhere.
Mathematics was one of the most difficult subjects in school. Moreover, traditional face-to-face education is turning to
blended learning, making mathematics more difficult to access. This new teaching norm can improve the difficulty of
self-studying mathematics. However, effective means must be used. Researchers aimed to solve current educational
needs using math apps integrated into educational design. Students are now can depend on numerous applications
software on their academic tasks, especially in this new learning modality. The math apps may not only focus on
unlocking difficulties but also provide more activities during and after the mathematical problems. Research indicates
that through the use of technology, students are able to learn mathematics more deeply. According to Etcuban (2013),
teachers are at the forefront of every learning institution. They teach and nurture the minds of students. Proserpio and
Gioia (20007) added that teachers are responsible for understanding the needs, interests, and capabilities of the
students so that they may intelligently provide for these needs most economically and practically. This delivery method,
known as blended learning, can create an enriched learning environment where students are exposed to individualized
lessons that are self-paced and provide multiple modes of presentation.

The purpose of this study is to find out if there is a significant relationship between using of Automated Mathematical
Solving Applications and Academic Performance of Grade 11 STEM Students in ASKI Skills and Knowledge Institute, Inc.
Also, it is intended to determine the reasons why most of the students are using those applications.
