It is our pleasure to invite you to the IS-UNITE’s training on

Effective Meetings – Parliamentary Procedure and Preparation of Board
Resolution for Associations to be held on May 6-8, 2023 at the Happy
Homes Housing Cooperative, Bukal Rd., Brgy. Bucal, Tanza, Cavite.

The training aims to provide basic leadership skills in effective meetings

applying the parliamentary procedure, and preparation of board resolutions
to member-leaders of IS UNITE. It also aims to promote awareness of the
DOLE’s department orders and other issuances concerning the protection of
workers.

This activity is realized through the funding support from the Department of
Labor and Employment – Bureau of Labor Relations (DOLE-BLR) under its
Workers Organization and Development Program (WODP). The costs for
food, accommodation, speakers’ honoraria, and supplies were covered by the
agency.

However, IS UNITE is required to contribute at least 20% of the total

approved cost as part of the training grant agreement with DOLE. Thus, we
are urging each participant to make a local counterpart donation in the
amount of one thousand pesos (P 1,000.00) to cover the travel and other
administrative costs.
