2022 ANNNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The end of Metropolitan Dog Obedience Club’s financial year is fast approaching and with
that, the Annual General Meeting which will take place at Marchant Park on Thursday, 2 nd
November 2022 at 7:30pm.

If you would like to nominate to hold a position, please have a financial member nominate
you, by completing the attached nomination form. In order to hold an Executive
Committee Position you must be a current member of Dogs Queensland and MDOC Inc. In
order to hold a Committee position of the MDOC Inc you must be a financial member or a
Life Member of the club prior to the close of nominations. Nominations close 20th October
2022.

Positions include:

President Vice President Secretary

Treasurer Committee Members Trial Secretary
Training Co-Ordinator Publicity Officer Trial Manager
Equipment Officer Catering Officer Trophy Officer

Where a nomination has been made prior to the meeting no further nomination may be made
after the closing date. In the case of a position not having a nominee prior to the meeting –
nominations will be called for from the floor.

At the Annual General Meeting members will also vote on the nominee selected by the
Committee for Life Membership. Nominee details will be released prior to the Annual
General Meeting for your consideration.
