Real Aikido (children) Belts requirements:

YELLOW BELT

Motion: spinning around, spinning around the front leg, step


spin, sliding motion.

Falls: backward fall.

Understanding of principles of defense against various types of


grabs.

Techniques:

 Defense against a grab by the hair from the front —


going backwards and a wrist lock

 Defense against a one-hand grab by a collar from behind


— passing below the arm backwards and a wrist lock

 Defense against a side grab from behind (pick


pocketing)

 Defense against a both-hands grab by both hands from


the front — step aside and pass below the arm
 Defense against a hand grab (handshaking) — pass
under and apply pressure — by cutting down with the
hand

 Defense against a right-hand grab by the right hand —


twisting and pulling of the opponent around, outside

 Defense against a chest-grab — going backwards and a


wrist lock.

ORANGE BELT

Motion: spinning around, spinning around the front leg, step


spin, sliding motion.

Falls: backward fall, forward somersault — forward fall.

Techniques:

 Defense against a single-hand-grab (the right hand


grabs the left hand) — step aside and a wrist lock —
second form

 Defense against a one-hand-grab (handshaking, the


right hand grabs the right hand) — spinning, “merry-go-
round”
 Defense against a waist-grab — release by grabbing
fingers

 Defense against a both-hands grab by both hands from


the front — step aside and a wrist lock — second form

 Defense against a both-hands grab by both hands from


the front — twisting upwards and fixation on the chest
and a throw

 Defense against a strike in the head from above —


crossing the arms, first form.

GREEN BELT

Motion: spinning around, spinning around the front leg, step


spin, sliding motion.

Falls: backward fall, forward fall.

Techniques:

 Defense against a both-hands grab by both hands from


the front — passing below the right arm — second form

 Defense against a roundhouse punch in the head (a slap)


 Defense against a strike from below in the stomach —
moving the leg backwards and blocking the arm with
arms crossed — a lock

 Defense against a both-shoulders-grab from behind —


moving the leg backwards and passing of the head
between the arms

 Defense against a handshake — passing and cutting


down with the hand — a twisting wrist lock

 Defense against an arm grab around the neck — grab the


opponent by hair and pull

 Defense against a straight-hand strike in the head —


holding from the outside with both hands and pulling
around in circular movement — first form

 AVOIDING attack from one opponent

BLUE BELT

Motion: spinning around, spinning around the front leg, step


spin, sliding motion, step spin and spin on heels.

Falls: forward fall, backward fall, fall backwards with getting up,
linked forward fall — backward fall.

Techniques:
 Defense against a hand strike in the head from above —
step aside and block the strike with arms crossed — a
wrist pin

 Defense against a waist-grab from behind — sweeping of


one leg and control

 Defense against a chest-grab from the front — passing


the head and the body below one arm

 Defense against a both-hands-grab by both hands from


behind — flipping over of one hand and a rotational
wrist lock — third form

 Defense against a both-hands-grab by both hands from


the front — twisting arm lock and sweeping the
opponent to the ground by pulling his/her hair

 Defense against a circular hand strike in the head —


deflect by turning inward and sweep

 Defense against a roundhouse kick from a side — deflect


by making a step and turn — a heel lock

 AVOIDING attack from two opponents.

BROWN BELT

A good understanding of all types of motion.


Correct performance of all types of falls.

Techniques:

 Defense against a lapel grab from behind — turning


outward — a knock down and control

 Defense against a lapel grab from behind — turning


inward with a slap

 Defense against a hand grab and a collar grab — flipping


over the arm and a wrist lock

 Defense against a right-hand-grab by the left hand —


inward movement, grabbing the opponent by the arm
and quick turn — second form

 Defense against a right-hand-grab by the right hand — a


step, turn to the outside and pull the opponent with you
— first form

 Defense against a single-hand grab by the collar from


behind — quick passing below the arm and an elbow
lock

 AVOIDING attacks from multiple opponents.

BLACK BELT FOR CHILDREN


Extraordinary talented children of this age have an opportunity to
undergo preparations for getting a black belt for children. During
a longer period of time, in agreement with an instructor, they are
to prepare parts of the established program and to undergo a
testing procedure before the WCRA refereeing corps, headed by
Grand Master Ljubomir Vračarević, the founder of Real Aikido.

The program comprises:

 Demonstration of all types of motion (correct posture,


resolute correct motion)

 Correct performance of all types of falls

 Principles of release from various types of grabs

 Perfect performance of at least 5 of each defense


techniques:

 Various types of frontal grabs

 Various types of grabs from behind

 Hand strikes in the head from above

 Hand strikes in the head from a side

 Leg kicks

 Karate strikes
 Knife attacks

 AVOIDING attacks from two or multiple opponents.
