B. ACTIVITY Group Activity: (5 mins.)


The student will be group into three and write individually
the activities concerning youth in their barangay.
1. List at list three activities/ programs for the youth
in your barangay.
2. What is the goal of such activities?
3. What is your rule as a youth in your community?

Paper Tower Building: (5 mins.)


Out of the processed activity the students will construct a
paper tower using the bond paper where they wrote the
observed community activities.
C. ANALYSIS The students will analyze their just concluded activity. (15
mins)

1. What group who has the highest tower, has a big


tower in terms of diameter? How many papers you Integrating
use in your tower? (Ask students to count the Mathematics
paper they use in their Paper Tower. Solve the (Numeracy)

D. ABSTRACTION Group Activity. To summarize the lesson, each group will


be given a meta strips and manila paper containing the
answer on the question:

What is the importance of solidarity in community


development.

Direction: Complete the statement by supplying the


missing words using the meta strips given.

Solidarity means removing the boundaries that prevent


us from working together rather it unifies the members of
the community to achieve their common goals in
community development. Solidarity can be associated
with cooperation and collaboration that is each member
of the community is taking and sharing its part or role in
fulfilling the targets of the community development.
E. APPLICATION Performance Task
In a group of 3, exchange views on how you show your
unity/solidarity when doing performance task inside the
classroom. Express this through a hashtag that show the
importance of solidarity in community development, 3
minutes to talk with your group and 1 minute to discuss
your hashtag per group.
