‫ﺴﺎنَ َﻣﺎ ﻟَ ْﻢ ﯾَ ْﻌﻠَ ْﻢ۔‬ ِ ْ ‫ی َﻋﻠﱠ َﻢ ﺑِﺎ ْﻟﻘَﻠَ ْﻢ۔ َﻋﻠ ﱠ َﻢ‬
َ ‫اﻻ ْﻧ‬ َ ‫ﺴﺎنَ ِﻣﻦْ َﻋﻠَﻖْ۔ إِ ْﻗ َﺮ ْأ َو َرﺑﱡ‬
ْ ‫ﮏ ا ْﻻَ ْﮐ َﺮ ُم اﻟﱠ ِﺬ‬ َ ‫اﻻ ْﻧ‬ َ َ‫ی َﺧﻠَﻖْ۔ َﺧﻠ‬
ِْ ‫ﻖ‬ ْ ‫ﮏ اﻟّ ِﺬ‬
َ ‫ﺳ ِﻢ َرﺑﱢ‬
ْ ‫ﻗﺮأ ﺑﺎ‬

“(١)Read in the name of thy( ‫ )ا‬Lord(‫( ) ورد ر‬2)Who created; ‫ا ۔‬ (2)

Who taught (the use of) the pen, ‫۔‬ (‫ل‬ ‫)ا‬
taught man that which he knew not.(Quran, 96:1-5) ‫۔‬ ‫وہ‬ ‫( ا ن وہ‬Qur’an, 96: 1-5)

and divine bliss(‫ں‬ ِ ‫) ا‬.

On one occasion( ), (2)they (4)sent a delegation( ‫( )و‬3)to the Rasool’s ‫ ﷺ‬kind(‫ ) ن‬and caring( )
uncle, Abu Talib. ‫۔‬ ‫( ا و‬4)‫س‬ ‫تا‬ ‫اور ن‬ ‫(آپ‬3) ‫( ا ں‬2)، ‫(ا‬١)

They told him (3)to restrain( ‫( )رو‬2)the Holy Prophet‫ﷺ‬form preaching ( ) Allah Almighty’s
message, (4)or face ( ) their enmity.

‫تا‬ ‫(ا ں‬١)

Finding himself in a dilemma( ), (2)he sent for( ) his nephew( ) (3)and explained( ‫ )و‬to him
the situation( ‫) ر ل‬. ‫۔‬ ‫ر ل و‬ ‫(اُن‬3)‫اور‬ ‫(آپ ا‬2)، ‫(ا آپ‬١)

The Rasool ‫( ﷺ‬3)responded (2)with these memorable(‫ ) د ر‬words:

(3 times) “(١)My dear uncle, (١)if they put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left, (3)even then I shall

not abandon ( ‫ڑوں‬ )the proclamation ( )of the Oneness of Allah (Tauheed).

I shall set up ( ‫وں‬ ) the true faith upon the earth (2)or perish ( ‫وٗں‬ ) in the attempt.”

Para—8) (١) The Rasool’s ‫ ﷺ‬uncle (2)was so impressed ( )with his nephew’s firm

( . (4)I shall never forsake ( ‫ڑوں‬ )thee ( ‫)آپ‬.”
