GUARD HOUSE

Guard House is consist of different existing

individuals yet the roles they play considered
to be the same. The purpose of guard house
is paying attention to help guide the
students, professors and other personnel
upon having the ability of showing an
attentive action towards the clients who
would ask for help, guidance and answering
of queries. They also have the will to
maintain peace within the school in just
providing safety rules and protocols.
Rules and Regulations includes
students way of dressing up, wearing of
earrings and colored hair are strictly
prohibited, and proper wearing of ids before
entering the school premises.

BALAY SA ALUMNI

The Alumni Association is the one who originated the Balay sa Alumni. The Alumni Association
holds meetings, conferences, and managerial gatherings. The venue where the aforementioned
activities will take place is specifically in the BALAY SA ALUMNI.

KAHIMSOG CENTER

This Kahimsog Center Is A Manifestation Of

Our Love And Care To The Students Teachers And Employees Of CTU Argao. Kahimsog
Center ensures the good health of the students and the people around the campus.

Future Science and Technology Leaders of the Philippines

Their function is included in the second higher governing body of the university. It focuses more
about science, research, and technology since they are known for an organization of science
and future leaders. The officers of CTU Argao Campus turned the spotlight on the generated
activities that could help students nourish their passion for productive things.

SSG
Supreme Student Government

It is the highest governing body in the

university. They represent all students upon
hearing their voices and represent their
voices in the CTU- Argao Campus.

SAO
Students Affair Office

Participates in the creation and successful

execution of policies, plans, programs,
activities, and other issues relating to
student growth, welfare, and discipline.
Oversees the provision of student services
and the management of student
organizations, publications, and leadership development initiatives. The clinic and the guidance
counselor are both located at the SAO's office.

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

The College of Education has exposed in-house faculty to pertinent teacher development
activities that strengthen both their content and pedagogical orientations in their area of
expertise, this is intended to give them a variety of learning opportunities to advance their
professional development and discipline understanding.

The college of education is surrounded with the sub-organizations namely; SOUTHERN

RIPPLES PUBLICATION, ELECTRICAL OFFICE, SERVICE TEACHING OFFICE, AND ROTC
OFFICE.
In between the college of education and science and technology building, the mid building
consists of designated offices. They are namely; The Cashier’s Office, Supply Office, Registrar,
MIS Office. And as soon as you step in the 2nd floor of the building, you will be able to
recognize the presence of the Admins Office or known to be as the Campus Director’s Office
and the Human Resource Management Office.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY BLDG.

1st floor- consists of an extension of an extension office and undergraduate studies, classrooms
for the industrial engineering department, 2nd floor- classrooms for BAEL (meaning BAEL) CAS
(meaning CAS), 3rd floor-laboratory, Psychology department classrooms, and the old library.

DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL BLDG

An old structured building of the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Education is
known as the Diosdado Macapagal Building. As a result of the wall cracking, students are no
longer able to report on this building and help ensure the nearby safety of the professors and
the students. To help assure their safety, they have been obliged to transfer to another building.
Supplies and other auxiliary equipment are stored inside. This building has benefited the
maintenance officers for the meantime by the fact that for as soon as possible, it would be
destroyed and a wide range of proposed 4 story buildings will thereafter exist when this has to
be diminished.

NEW LIBRARY

The goal of school libraries is to make ideas and information accessible to both students and
faculty. Materials in all formats are accessible through the libraries. This is already a new library;
the old library is located in the SciTech building, and it was moved here because the old library
lacked some facilities. They encourage students to read, watch and use ideas and information
more frequently.

AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT

Donated by the local government unit of Argao. This building is a two-story building with four
classrooms for agriculture students. It includes sectors that comprises establishments primarily
engaged in growing crops, raising animals, harvesting timber, and other animals from a farm,
ranch, or their natural habitats. Healthy green leafy vegetables can be seen all throughout the
different sides as you walk into and mini farm poultries are by its department for consumption
and profit making.
CENTER FOR STUDIES IN BIODIVERSITY

Focuses on food innovation which centers on creating a new product. So far, CTU's biodiversity,
environmental research, and natural resources have lots of products like bread and pastries,
seaweeds, and a lot more that they have already UM'd. UM means-Utility Model, and it is a form
of patent-like protection for minor or incremental innovations. They tend to protect the functional
aspect of a product. CTU's biodiversity, environmental research, and natural resources also
serve as a pride of CTU because they gain popularization in order for CTU to create a brand
name.

Fun fact: other universities are also utilizing the same products, so these universities are racing
to pass an application to secure protection for a utility model because if no protection is applied
for and sought, anyone can just copy, sell, distribute and manufacture the same product and
this will deprive the real maker of the profits that he should have earned from the sale or
distribution of his product.

CTU OVAL

One of the campus hotspots where students have their sports training like football, Track and
field sports, beach volley, softball, and even practice for performances, plus sports matches and
sports events are held here. This oval also serves as a gathering place for students during flag
ceremonies, intramurals, and big events held on school grounds, most likely showcasing
attentive heads behind campus events. The oval consists of square meters.

CTU GYMNASIUM

The primary goal of the freshly polished gym at Cebu Technological University is to assist the
students in gaining more strength and endurance for their physical well-being, important events,
and other activities. The construction of the gym will benefit the student's overall development
because they will be exposed to a variety of exercises designed to increase their endurance and
fitness. Typically, this gym is a sizable area that is used for a variety of indoor sports. As a
result, it also comprises the educational institution's activity and learning spaces.

CAFETERIA

Canteens make up the majority of Cebu Technological University students and staff who can't
always bring a "cut lunch" from home will be able to get snacks and lunch as a result of this.
The canteen also plays a significant role in the larger CTU environment by supporting the
concepts of healthy eating and lifestyle education that are taught.

BSIT BUILDING
This building is a four-story building and it consists of different majors on each floor.
CHMT DEPARTMENT
This building serves as a mini hotel and is also the usage of senior and junior classrooms to the
College of Hospitality and Tourism students, because they usually act or perform practical
demonstrations.
HABLON DE ARGAO
This is Hablon de Argao extension building. It was founded by the DTI in collaboration with
CTU Argao. It is a three-story building. It consists of a fabrication laboratory, showroom for
hablon products, computer laboratory and hablon cebu office. This also helps influence the
students in the campus to have the ability in appreciating hand made products associated within
the school.
