season three aired. Dan Lin and Jennifer

Will there be a Forever Season 2?

This is the million-dollar question that every

fan wants an answer to. Unfortunately, there is
no definitive answer yet. ABC cancelled
Forever after one season in 2015, citing low
ratings as the reason. However, many fans
and critics argued that the show had a loyal
and passionate fanbase, and that the ratings
did not reflect the show’s true potential. They
also pointed out that the show gained more
viewers who watched it later on their DVRs or
online platforms.

Since then, several online campaigns and

petitions have been to save the show and
bring it back for a second season. Some fans
even suggested another network or streaming
service could pick up the show and continue
its story. However, none of these efforts have
been successful so far, and no official
announcement or confirmation from any
source about Forever Season 2.

However, that does not mean that all hope is
lost. Some signs still indicate that Forever
Season 2 could happen someday. For
instance, some cast and crew members have
expressed their interest and willingness to
return to the show if given a chance. Ioan
Gruffudd, who plays Henry Morgan, the
immortal protagonist of the show, said in an
interview that he would love to reprise his role
and explore more of Henry’s backstory and
relationships. He also said that he was
grateful for the fan support and hoped they
would see more of Forever in the future.

Another sign is that Forever has gained more

popularity and recognition over time,
especially after it became available on various
streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime
Video and HBO Max. Many new viewers have
discovered and enjoyed the show, and many
old fans have rewatched it and shared their
love for it on social media. This could increase
the demand and interest for Forever Season 2,
and possibly attract the attention of some
network or streaming service executives who
could revive the show.

So, while there is no official word on Forever

Season 2 yet, there is still some possibility
that it could happen someday. Until then, we
can only keep our fingers crossed and hope

Forever aired. When the final episode aired on
May 5, 2015, it ended. The ABC network aired
the entire season.

Even though viewers liked the show, the ABC

network terminated it due to low viewership.
According to a television reviewer, the network
refused to make Forever Season 2 after
people watched the episodes days later.

There were 8.26 million viewers for the first

episode of the show. Early indications indicate
that the second episode’s numbers weren’t
too poor. Despite this, many television series
viewers stopped watching after the third
episode.

Despite its best efforts, Forever failed to

improve its ratings before the season’s finish.
The final season rating was 1.12, and 4.93
million viewers tuned in.

The series was well received. They organized

campaigns and petitions to keep it on TV on
social media because they were upset that it
had been cancelled. We were given no further
information from the network or the show’s
creators after it was canceled. But we
speculate if the show’s renewal is announced
this year, it might release in 2024.
