 CEZA (Bilgin Özçalkan)
Bilgin Özçalkan, better known as Ceza, was born on
December 31, 1976 in Üsküdar, İstanbul. It was registered as
1 January 1977 in the population. Bilgin Özçalkan, whose
main profession is Electrical Technician, did this job for a
while and started to be interested in rap music, which he was
interested in from a young age. Ceza has many first prizes in
the competitions he participated in during these periods.
After his first band U.C.S in 1996, he founded the group
Nefret with Tarık Gamert (Dr. Fuchs) in 1998. In 1999, the
songs included in a compilation album called "Yeraltı
Operasyonu", a project of Tunç Dindaş, aroused great interest
in the rap world.
Criminal used the phrase " kimse bilmez ama ceza nefretten
de eskidir " in the song "Yerli Plaka", because the Nefret
group was founded in 1998. However, CEZA started rap music
in 1995, but everyone knows that his first album, "Meclisi Ala-
İstanbul", which was released in 2000, is the beginning of
punishment to rap music.
Having performed in numerous domestic organizations, Ceza
held his first concert abroad in 2002 in Sweden.
Having released the album "Rapstar" in 2004, Ceza achieved
great success with the album "Yerli Plaka", which was
released on August 29, 2006 and consisted of 17 tracks.
