The document outlines the procedure for turning off and on a 11kV VCB switching circuit. Key steps include wearing protective equipment, identifying and isolating related circuits, racking the VCB out to an isolated position and applying safety locks and notices, and racking the VCB back in and closing it to re-energize the circuit. Safety is confirmed at each stage using voltage detectors.

1. Wear arc flash suit during isolation procedure. 2. Identify related circuit that need to be OFF by referring single line diagram inside switch room. 3. Turn OFF VCB by push OFF button or select the selector switch to OPEN position. 4 Confirm circuit dead by pressing voltage indicator at VCB panel. 5. Open VCB compartment door. 6. Rack out VCB completely until isolate position. 7. Open Busbar shutter and cable shutter. 8. Confirm circuit dead at busbar and cable using High voltage detector. 9. ON earth switch after PCD completed. 10. Apply Non Standard Lock, Caution notice and Danger notice. 11. Barricade working area and issue PTW. B. Turn ON/CLOSED VCB. 1. Make sure no tools or any object left over inside VCB compartment. 2. Check all cable and busbar connection is properly tighten. 3. Close all opening area. 4. OFF earth switch. 5. Rack in VCB until connect position. 6. Close VCB compartment door. 8. ON/CLOSED VCB by pressing CLOSED BUTTON or select Selector to CLOSED position. 9. Check voltage by pressing voltage indicator. Indicator with flashing light if voltage incoming is energise.
