Report on Media Committee Activities

• The Media Committee is responsible for fostering relations with external

stakeholders, such as parents, through various media relation activities. The
committee plans to accomplish this by regularly publishing timely newsletters,
engaging with parents and the public by facilitating the institute’s online
presence across various social media platforms. The Media Committee also
manages internal communication by reporting events, happenings, and
achievements to the administration, faculty, and student community.

• The committee wishes to report that it is working towards its goal of fostering
better relations with external stakeholders. This can only be possible through
the engagement of all teachers and relevant authorities.
Livingstone Tour:
• Videos and photos were made available to
our parents. A Livingstone video will be
made available as soon as possible.
Challenges:
• We do not have the necessary tools, such
as a camera, tripod stands, and other
equipment.
• Some pupils did not give consent to our
team due to personal reasons.
• We do not have access to other social
media groups. However, it is difficult to
share information with our stakeholders.
• There is no engagement from sister
committees on their events that need
public attention or our stakeholders.
Successes:
• Livingstone Video
• Photos
• Engagement between
media and club committee
through the press club was
excellent. Committees and
departments should
emulate.
• Church services: projector
was provided
Recommendations and Future Plans:
• Procurement of a camera, tripod stand,
soundcard, a projector, studio microphone,
P.A System (this will help in church services and
other departments like Music, press) and other
necessary equipment are needed.
• Allow us to provide content to the person in
charge of the Facebook page and
YouTube Channel reviewed by
management.
• Advanced Termly Newsletter
• Monthly/Termly Magazine
• Let management engage the committee
on issues pertaining to communication and
media in general so that the committee
may be brought to life.
