Stories are centered around the science and technology of
the future.
There is a high/low possibility that the events in the story
could happen.
A science fiction is all about what if...
The writers use the scientific knowledge we know TODAY
and write about WHAT the future could be like IF that
knowledge was developed further.

unrealistic and explores unlimited
possibilities. historical past that contradicts historical records.
