a classroom university is not possible for a significant number of their workforce, yet they recognize the corporate
benefits that a career-related degree program can bring to their employees.

PROGRAM DURATION:

Julius, your program and course work are at your own pace. Most of our students are working adults and have
challenging schedules that sometimes vary through the duration of their program. You may put your studies on
hold and then return to them without negatively affecting your grades. The tuition for the program will not
change based on the time it takes you to finish the academic requirements. It is possible to complete program
within 18 to 26 months or less. Our programs are taken entirely by distance learning, no attendance will be
necessary to complete your programs and graduate.

TEXTBOOKS:
Julius, we do not require students to purchase text books. Our students use the AIU Online Library to do some
of their research. Some courses however that are more technical students may prefer to follow a more traditional
approach and use a textbook to follow step by step or use resources available at local colleges or libraries to

PROGRAM OUTLINE/PHASES

University of the future with the freedom to achieve your dreams as an institution that frees its students to
discover their passion in Public Health. Julius time is not a limiting factor to your academic journey at AIU,
neither are semesters or quarters. For over 25 years we have been the pioneer of distance learning in the world,
learn more about our open non-standardized Academic Curriculum.

First Phase: This contains 8 introductory assignments, intended for the integration and projection at the
personal, academic, professional and social level. In general, our students are able to complete this phase within
15 days of their enrollment.

Second Phase: This is the central part of the program. It consists of the elaboration of your Bibliography, 4 – 5
essays based on the multidisciplinary books on current tendencies recommended by AIU. On the other hand,
you will have the opportunity to develop your curriculum design, in which you will define the courses that you
will like to develop at this stage of your studies. Once such curriculum design is submitted and approved by
your assigned academic advisor, you will have to complete and submit each of the assignments that you
proposed.

Third Phase: This consists of the final Thesis of your program, Julius this is your time to shine, each program
has specific steps you must follow starting by project proposal, thesis dissertation and each graduate is
encouraged to publish their research papers either online in the public domain or through professional journals
and periodicals worldwide.

Fourth Phase: This is an administrative phase, and it refers to the reception of final documentation and
handling of graduation paperwork and ceremony. You will have to submit the necessary documents within 7
days after completion of the academic requirements. And finally, your graduation preparation Julius Watmon.

the world economy and specially in your country Uganda since we have previously assisted students there.
