I’m writing to express my interest in the recently advertised position as

an English Teacher. I am convinced that I could bring valuable skills
and experience working at Stella Maris- Christian Brothers School.

There are many reasons why I would make a fine addition to the
School. First of all, I have vast experience working as a Primary
English Teacher in both Public and Private schools settings for twenty
years now, therefore, I feel confident enough to deliver a class
focusing on the diverse students’ needs. More specifically , I focus my
attention on students with special educational needs by giving them
differentiating instruction.

Besides, it is my passion to work in a team. I believe that “ Two heads

are better than one” that’s why I have started researching in the area of
Co- Teaching and Collaboration since 2010. Throughout these years, I
have been implementing different ways of working collaboratively
among teachers, and students. I have found that children have
enhanced their academic performance, strengthened peer
relationships, boosted their self-esteem, and followed a collaborative
model to imitate among others.

As a teacher, my greatest assets are the joy and enthusiasm that I

create in my classrooms, the interaction between students that I
foster, my ability to engage students who are hesitant to participate,
and my creativity in using every possible manner to help students
grasp difficult concepts. So teaching at Stella Maris School would
allow me to contribute further to your mission.
