    Amendments to the Code of Safety for Special Purpose Ships, 2008
    (2008 SPS Code) were adopted by the Maritime Safety Committee
    (MSC) at its ninety-ninth session by resolution MSC.445(99)
    on 24 May 2018. These amendments entered into force
    on 1 January 2020.
