I Title

Stacked Ball Drop

II Objectives

 The objectives of conducting a stacked ball drop experiment are to observe and analyze
the kinematic behavior of the balls, investigate impulse and momentum, analyze energy
transfer, understand collision types, and draw meaningful conclusions about the
behavior of the system. By achieving these objectives, participants can enhance their
understanding of fundamental physics principles and develop critical thinking and
analytical skills.

III Materials
 Basketball ball
 Bouncy ball
 Golf ball

IV Procedure
 Get a basketball ball, bouncy ball and a golf ball.
 Try to layer this three ball upwards, biggest to smallest.
 Glued each other ball to prevent hit by the ball in you, then drop the balls.
 Check how far it goes, depends on the height of your drop.

V Results
Each ball in the stack may reach a different height after being released. The top ball typically
falls the furthest, while subsequent balls may reach progressively lower heights due to energy
loss in collisions and frictional forces. Observing and measuring the heights reached by each ball
can provide valuable data for analysis.

VI Conclusion
Therefore the stacked ball drop experiment, participants gain a deeper understanding of impulse,
momentum, energy transfer, and collision types. The experiment encourages critical thinking, data
analysis, and drawing conclusions based on the observed behaviors.
