II. RATIONALE
“Reading is a tool for leaning and development” according to anonymous author. It is a must that every child should
know how to read in order for her or him to understand all the text/words that he/she might encounter in his/her
daily routine. Thus, we found out in our school, that there are few pupils who are in the emerging and frustration
level. These type of learners need extra time to learn more how to read. Their problems in reading need to be
addressed not just us the teachers but with the help of their parents and our independent readers through peer
teaching. That is why we come up to launch this project PAPAKH to be applied to the different levels of learners every
Friday.
“Pag-agak ug Pagbasa Kauban ang mga Higala” is a strict reading program of San Pedro Elementary School, that
provides fair, creative and fun learning opportunities and experiences to all types of learners.
