You are a team leader in a project meeting with some colleagues. Ask your
colleagues to do the following tasks. You can make the transcript of the
dialogue first, and then practice it to improve your speaking and
pronunciation.

Elvina (leader) : “Okay for today’s meeting, we are to going to assign some
action points for our next project. First of all, we need to write the proposal for
a new project. Would anyone like to volunteer ?”
Jessica : “Yes, I can do that. I will make the proposal.”
Elvina :”When will the proposal be ready?”
Jessica :”I think I need approximately two to three days to finish it. How about
this Friday ?”
Elvina :”Okay, I would like you to email me the proposal on Friday. Thanks
Jessica. Now, we need a person who can take samples for new company logo.
Would anyone will to be a volunteer who can be responsible for this ?”
Chris :” May I take responsibility for taking care of source samples for the new
company logo, because I have enough experience in that field.
Elvina :”That’s great, Chris. could you finish it next Monday, chris?”
Chris :” Sorry, maybe at the end of this month because I have some things to
deal with first”
Elvina :”Great, Thank you. And who can prepare offers for prospective
employees, Would anyone will to be a volunteer ?
Aisha :”Oh, I don’t mind. If nobody else wants to do it, then I will prepare
questions for potential new clients, Millwood Company. Soon”
Elvina :”Thanks, Aisha. Could you finish it in the next 2 days and send it to my
email if you have finished it?”
Aisha :”I’m sorry, I could finish it by next Thursday”
Elvina :” it's okay, thank you Aisha. How about writing an advertisement in the
newspaper for a new office manager, can I trust you Sophie to be responsible
for this?”
Sophie :”I'm sorry, I couldn't. I am not an expert in that field”
Daniel :”I don’t mind, I can handle it. don't worry and I will finish it by the end
of the day”
Elvian :”Okay that’s a good point, Thank you Daniel. And for you Sophie, Could
you handle to organizing the purchase and delivery of the new IT hardware?”
Sophie :”of course, this is my specialty. I will be responsible for this, i will finish
by November.
Elvina :”Excellent! Okay, so thank you everybody, and have a nice day”
