Underwater Inspection
In order to enable in-service inspection and eliminating the necessity of draining the Water Storage
Tanks, Integrity NDT have developed an Underwater Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) – RUVI Diver.
RUVI has been designed to carry out internal visual inspection and tank floor ultrasonic thickness
measurement.

The design, development, prototype trails and final equipment validation exercises were conducted at
Integrity NDT laboratories located in Ankara. RUVI is a professional underwater ROV designed for pro-
fessional users and industrial applications. It has 8 vectored thrusters layout which allows omni move-
ment in all directions. RUVI can hover accurately in any depth with one touch depth-lock mode and
used for shooting, observation and operation from any angle.

A 5Mhz twin crystal 0 degree longitudinal wave ultrasonic transducer was designed and mounted to
RUVI.

Integrity NDT can carry out a standard 15m diameter water storage tank internal and external inspec-
tion in 2 days with a team of x2 inspection engineers.
Inspection Stages:

First Day:
- Site Establishment
- Internal visual inspection
Second Day:
- Internal Tank Bottom Thickness Measurement
- External Shell and Roof visual inspection and
Ultrasonic thickness measurement

Our experienced engineers prepare and deliver a

comprehensive inspection report with visual ins-
pection photographs and videos.

Our ISO 9712 Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing

certified engineers carry out Internal and
external thickness measurements.

Our experienced engineers inspect all internal

welds and plates condition.
RUVI can record underwater temperature, depth,
to provide you with professional underwater data
support. According to real—time depth determi-
nation ability, our engineers can assess and re-
cord internal weld positions during inspection.
