Defenition of label

A label is a piece of paper etc. that is attached to something and

that provides information about it.

Labels are commonly found on products, whether they are

clothing, food and beverages, medicines, cosmetics and
body care products.

Several forms of labels include those on the packaging or

container, and can also be inserted into the product, such as
clothing labels.
